Three public events taking place in October will guide future development and improvements along the South Fulton Parkway corridor. On Tuesday, Oct. 18, an input-gathering session focused on the South Fulton Parkway corridor will be hosted. Stakeholders are invited to a drop-in informational session between 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. to provide their feedback on proposed plans for the corridor. The drop-in session will be held at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church’s fellowship hall – located at 5675 GA-92 in Fairburn.
Three alternative proposals will be available for review and discussion on Oct. 18. Members of the project team will collect and record public input during the session. More planning details will be presented on Thursday, Oct. 20 during an open house scheduled from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Etris Community Center – 5285 Lakeside Drive in Union City. The final presentation of development goals will be presented during the last session, on Thursday, Oct. 27 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Etris Community Center.
The meetings will be organized by the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) and the planning professionals at Jacobs Engineering.
