To Whom It May Concern:
The Aerotropolis Atlanta Community Improvement Districts (AACIDs) was recently awarded a Livable Communities Initiative (LCI) grant to complete the AeroATL Greenway Plan. The AeroATL Greenway Plan is a comprehensive trail master plan for the Aerotropolis area, connecting the communities around Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (H-JAIA). Each of the partners (Aerotropolis Atlanta Alliance, Aerotropolis Atlanta CIDs, College Park, Clayton County, East Point, Forest Park, Fulton County, Hapeville, and H-JAIA) have identified a need for a greenway plan through the Aerotropolis Atlanta Alliance Blueprint, approved in 2016.
The Aerotropolis Atlanta Community Improvement Districts (AACIDs) is soliciting Proposals from qualified firm(s) or organization(s) to provide Consultant Services for professional services to complete the AeroATL Greenway Plan. This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks to identify potential providers for the Scope of Services included in this RFP package.
Please review the attached materials and formulate a response that addresses the RFP. Details regarding content, timing and selection process are included. If you have any questions, please contact our office by the methods set forth in the RFP and we will try to address them in a timely manner.
Once the RFP process is complete and a consultant or a consulting team is chosen, we will move immediately to contract negotiations and execution. The study effort will begin in summer 2017 after the start of the State of Georgia Fiscal Year 2018. It should be noted that this project is contingent upon AACIDs receiving funding from the Atlanta Regional Commission.
We look forward to receiving and reviewing your response. Thank you in advance for your interest.
